The forensic experts at the Miami Police Department have no doubt, shown the highest levels of integrity and dedication, in controlling the mounting crimes on the cultural cross-roads of Miami.

Now, the officers will surely face political obstacles in acquitting a murderer, set up by this new character, to be played by Carlos Bernard.

A download of the upcoming episodes will introduce us to this character, the new nemesis on CSI Miami.

The protagonist of the show and the head of the Forensic department, Horatio Caine, will find himself in direct confrontation with Bernard’s character.

A rich politician, the character will be seen trying to protect his son from getting acquitted for a murder, and I guess, he’s surely going to bring in a lot of trouble for Caine and his team.

Co-executive producer, Barry O’Brien, reveals that the new character would be extremely powerful and influential, which is why Horatio and his team of forensic experts would have a real tough time, battling the odds, in order to put the guilty son behind bars.

Barry compares the two characters of Bernard and Caruso on either sides of the law and finds both of them to be equally deadly, as well as focused.

And, moreover the very fact that the new character comes from a purely political background, is of more concern for the Miami fighters for justice!

Carlos Bernard has been seen in the television series 24, aired between 2001 and 2009, Scoundrels and in an episode of Burn Notice and has another villainous role in the new Charlie’s Angels Revamp in his kitty.

The episodes with Bernard in them would get aired in late October.
